Minnesota High School Basketball - North Branch tops Big Lake
January 30, 2024: North Branch, MN 55056 North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN), 84-68 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, North Branch upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Becker (Becker, MN) to play the Bulldogs in a AAA Section 5 bout on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 10-8. Becker won 69-64 in their recent league bout against St. Francis (St. Francis, MN)
Next up, the Hornets play the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN) in a AAA Section 5 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Big Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-16 record after their 79-62 non-league loss to Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN).
