The Olton Mustangs basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting New Deal Lions to 32 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lockney for a 2A Region I District 4 contest on Friday, February 2. Olton will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 66-57 league loss to Ralls (Ralls, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 7-14.

The Lions (7-19) will now prepare for their contest against Hale Center (Hale Center, TX). The Owls enter the 2A Region I District 4 contest with a 20-7 record. In their last contest, Hale Center triumphed over Sudan (Sudan, TX), 78-58, in a league contest.
