The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders (Statesville, NC) and the visiting Covenant Classical Warriors (Concord, NC), observed Cornerstone Christian Academy's basketball team edge Covenant Classical by a score of 67-62.

The Crusaders (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockwell Christian School (Rockwell, NC). The Chargers come into the NCCSA A West Region 2 challenge with a 2-12 record. In their last challenge, Rockwell Christian School was tipped by New Manna Christian (Marion, NC), 82-61, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots (Mooresville, NC) in a CSAA challenge, on Friday, January 31.
