Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA), 80-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Indian River upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Braves travel to Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Bruins in a Southeastern bout on Friday, February 3. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Western Branch won 66-49 in their recent league bout against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA)
