Connecticut High School Basketball - New Canaan falls to Stamford
January 31, 2023: New Canaan, CT 06840 In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Stamford Black Knights basketball team scored a good 36-25 triumph over the New Canaan Rams.
In their next game, the Black Knights meet the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT) in a Fairfield County match, on Thursday, February 2. Stamford will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a 4-7 record after their 57-36 league loss to Darien (Darien, CT).
With the defeat, New Canaan moves to 5-5 on the year. The Rams host Norwalk (Norwalk, CT) to meet the Bears in a Fairfield County match on Friday, February 3. The Bears enter the match with a record of 2-11. Norwalk lost 67-45 in their recent league match against Westhill (Stamford, CT)
