February 1, 2023: Prince Frederick, MD 20678 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD) and the visiting Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD), saw Calvert's basketball squad overcome Westlake by a tally of 60-43.
With the victory, Calvert improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to La Plata (La Plata, MD) to confront the Warriors in a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, February 3. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. La Plata lost 49-15 in their recent league challenge against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Westlake will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 40-23 league loss to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD).
