The Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) basketball felled the host Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD), 52-34 in Friday's league test.

The Hornets (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers go into the Southern Maryland test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Calvert thwarted North Point (Waldorf, MD), 58-54, in a league test.
