The Great Mills Hornets basketball team (Great Mills, MD), was toppled 49-31 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD)

The Chargers now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern for a Southern Maryland battle on Wednesday, February 15.

The Hornets (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves come into the Southern Maryland battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Chopticon was toppled by McDonough (Pomfret, MD), 57-32, in a league battle.
