The Calvert Cavaliers tipped the visiting Great Mills Hornets basketball team by a final score of 36-29 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Cavaliers face the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) in a Southern Maryland game, on Friday, January 20. Calvert will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Rams enter the game with a 8-1 record after their 52-49 league win over Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD).
