Connecticut High School Basketball - Bethel holds off Masuk
February 1, 2024: Bethel, CT 06801 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Bethel Wildcats (Bethel, CT) and the visiting Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT), saw Bethel's basketball squad hold off Masuk by a tally of 57-53.
With the victory, Bethel improves its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Weston (Weston, CT) to confront the Trojans in a Southwest challenge on Monday, February 5. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Weston lost 59-50 in their recent league challenge against Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT) in a Southwest challenge, on Monday, February 5. Masuk will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 73-58 league loss to Brookfield (Brookfield, CT).
