Ohio High School Basketball - Western Reserve knocked off by Mineral Ridge

The Mineral Ridge Rams basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Western Reserve Blue Devils to 40 in the Rams league triumph on Thursday.

The Rams now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson-Milton for a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest on Monday, February 5. Mineral Ridge will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 54-47 non-league loss to Heartland Christian (Columbiana, OH). The Bluejays record now stands at 7-9.

The Blue Devils (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lowellville (Lowellville, OH). The Rockets enter the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Lowellville ran past Valley Christian (Youngstown, OH), 44-11, in a non-league contest.
