In Saturday's league test, the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Metter Tigers (Metter, GA), by a score of 66-30.

Next, the Buccaneers encounter the Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 test, on Tuesday, February 4. McIntosh County Academy will attempt to improve on its 19-3 season record. The Bluejackets come into the test with a 17-4 record after their 83-54 league win over Claxton (Claxton, GA).
