Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mount Union topples Moshannon Valley
February 2, 2023: Houtzdale, PA 16651 In Thursday's league outing, the Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA) basketball squad beat the host Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA), by a count of 72-60.
The Trojans (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA). The Hornets go into the Inter County - North outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Juniata Valley was topped by Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA), 80-73, in a non-league outing.
The Black Knights/Damsels now hold a 0-18 record. They play next when they host Glendale for a Moshannon Valley outing on Friday, February 3. Moshannon Valley will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 66-46 non-league loss to Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-14.
