Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Juniata Valley fells Mount Union

December 10, 2022: Alexandria, PA 16611

Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA), 67-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Juniata Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Hornets host Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Inter County - North bout on Monday, December 12. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Bellwood-Antis lost 64-25 in their recent non-league bout against Tyrone (Tyrone, PA)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA) in a Moshannon Valley bout, on Monday, December 12. Mount Union will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 67-53 non-league win over Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA).
