The West Branch Warriors basketball team (Morrisdale, PA), was nudged 86-83 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA)

The Hornets now possess a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Curwensville for a Moshannon Valley battle on Wednesday, January 25. Juniata Valley will confront a Golden Tide team coming off a 70-34 league win over Glendale (Flinton, PA). The Golden Tide record now stands at 7-7.

The Warriors (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Harmony Area (Westover, PA). The Owls come into the Moshannon Valley battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Harmony Area edged Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA), 66-35, in a league battle.
