The Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) basketball knocked off the host Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA), 73-63 in Friday's league test.

The Hornets (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Curwensville (Curwensville, PA). The Golden Tide go into the Moshannon Valley test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Curwensville notched a victory over Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA), 66-58, in a non-league test.
