North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN), 61-59 in a league bout.

With the win, North Posey upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Vikings travel to Southridge (Huntingburg, IN) to play the Raiders in a Pocket bout on Friday, February 10. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Southridge lost 43-36 in their recent league bout against Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN)

Next up, the Chargers play the Tell City Marksmen (Tell City, IN) in a Pocket bout, on Friday, February 10. Pike Central will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Marksmen go into the bout with a 1-17 record after their 51-37 non-league win over Cannelton (Cannelton, IN).
