Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC), saw Carver's basketball squad wallop Cornerstone Charter by a tally of 76-50.

With the victory, Carver improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC) to confront the Bobcats in a 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. Piedmont Classical won 52-45 in their recent league challenge against Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC)

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC) in a 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record.
