Maryland High School Basketball - Great Mills crushes Lackey
February 3, 2023: Indian Head, MD 20640 Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD), 83-56 in a league bout.
With the win, Great Mills upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to Chopticon (Morganza, MD) to play the Braves in a Southern Maryland bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Braves go into the game with a record of 13-5. Chopticon lost 59-50 in their recent league game against McDonough (Pomfret, MD)
With the defeat, Lackey moves to 6-10 on the year. The Chargers host La Plata (La Plata, MD) to face the Warriors in a Southern Maryland game on Monday, February 6. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 10-5. La Plata won 84-46 in their recent league game against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD)
