The Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) basketball nipped the visiting McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), 60-58 in Wednesday's league test.

The Chargers (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD). The Hurricanes go into the Southern Maryland test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Huntingtown was tipped by North Point (Waldorf, MD), 69-37, in a league test.

The Rams now own a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Point for a Southern Maryland test on Wednesday, February 15. McDonough will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 73-55 league loss to Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 11-9.
