In Friday's league match, the visiting Chopticon Braves basketball team scored a tight 52-48 triumph over the Great Mills Hornets.

In their next game, the Braves meet the Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 19. Chopticon will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 62-46 league loss to Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD).
