Maryland High School Basketball - Leonardtown nips Chopticon

December 14, 2022: Morganza, MD 20660

Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), 64-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Leonardtown upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Raiders host King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD) to play the in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The come into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Braves play the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) in a Southern Maryland bout, on Friday, December 16. Chopticon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 72-58 non-league loss to Flowers (Springdale, MD).
