North Carolina High School Basketball - Hopewell fells West Mecklenburg

February 3, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28214

Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), 75-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Hopewell upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Titans host North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a 3A/4A Conference 60 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 20-2. North Mecklenburg lost 67-52 in their recent league bout against Chambers (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. West Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 2-19 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 15-6 record after their 47-44 league loss to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC).
