The Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) basketball crushed the host West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), 65-32 in Friday's league test.

The Huskies (13-7) will now prepare for their test against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Lions go into the 3A/4A Conference 60 test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, West Charlotte was trounced by Hopewell (Huntersville, NC), 72-61, in a league test.

The Hawks now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to North Mecklenburg for a 3A/4A Conference 60 test on Tuesday, January 31. West Mecklenburg will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 54-50 non-league win over Milton (Milton, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 19-1.
