North Carolina High School Basketball - Hough crushes Mallard Creek

January 6, 2023: Cornelius, NC 28031

Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC), 66-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Hough upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Huskies travel to Hopewell (Huntersville, NC) to play the Titans in a 3A/4A Conference 60 bout on Friday, January 13. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 10-5.

Next up, the Mavericks play the West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 60 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Mallard Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 85-53 league loss to Hopewell (Huntersville, NC).
