Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Stevens Raiders (Rapid City, SD), 55-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Brandon Valley upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Lynx host Washington (Sioux Falls, SD) to play the Warriors in a AA bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Washington lost 56-53 in their recent league bout against Watertown (Watertown, SD)

Next up, the Raiders play the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD) in a AA bout, on Friday, February 9. Stevens will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Bucks/Gazelles come into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 61-34 league loss to Riggs (Pierre, SD).
