South Dakota High School Basketball - Brandon Valley nips Riggs
January 18, 2024: Pierre, SD 57501 Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD), 54-47 in a league bout.
With the victory, Brandon Valley upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Lynx host Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD) to play the Golden Eagles in a AA bout on Saturday, January 20. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Aberdeen Central lost 50-36 in their recent league bout against O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD)
Next up, the Governors play the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles (Aberdeen, SD) in a AA bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Riggs will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 61-40 league loss to Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD).
