January 26, 2024: Harrisburg, SD 57032 The Riggs Governors basketball team (Pierre, SD), was overwhelmed 65-29 in Friday's league battle with the host Harrisburg Tigers (Harrisburg, SD)
The Tigers now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aberdeen Central for a AA battle on Friday, February 2. Harrisburg will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 58-43 non-league win over Tea (Tea, SD). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-8.
The Governors (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD). The Knights enter the AA contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, O'Gorman was routed by Washington (Sioux Falls, SD), 60-50, in a league contest.
