The Goddard Rockets defeated the visiting Lovington Wildcats basketball squad by a final score of 59-49 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Rockets clash with the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) in a 4A District 4 outing, on Friday, February 7. Goddard will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 14-7 record after their 74-48 league win over Portales (Portales, NM).
