Plain Dealing Lions (Plain Dealing, LA) supporters went home thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the visiting Bossier Bearkats (Bossier City, LA), 7-1 in a non-league test.

The Lions now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Converse for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 10.

With the defeat, Bossier drops to 0-1 on the year. The Bearkats travel to Northwood (Lena, LA) to play the Gators in a non-league test on Monday, February 9. The Gators go into the test with a record of 1-0. Northwood won 13-7 in their recent non-league test against Ringgold (Ringgold, LA)
