South Dakota High School Basketball - St. Mary overwhelms Arlington
February 6, 2023: Arlington, SD 57212 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD) and the host Arlington Cardinals (Arlington, SD), saw St. Mary's basketball squad wallop Arlington by a tally of 76-32.
With the victory, St. Mary improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Howard (Howard, SD) to confront the Tigers in a B Region 3 challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Howard won 50-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the James Valley Christian Vikings (Huron, SD) in a B Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Arlington will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 69-43 non-league win over Mitchell Christian (Mitchell, SD).
