Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Conemaugh Township tops Blacklick Valley

February 6, 2023: Nanty Glo, PA 15943

Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA) and the host Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA), saw Conemaugh Township's basketball squad knock off Blacklick Valley by a count of 53-39.

With the victory, Conemaugh Township upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Indians host North Star (Boswell, PA) to play the Cougars in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern battle on Wednesday, February 8. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 13-8. North Star lost 59-49 in their recent non-league battle against Forest Hills (Sidman, PA)

The Vikings (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA). The Blue Jays come into the Western Pennsylvania - Northern battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Conemaugh Valley beat Ferndale (Johnstown, PA), 54-44, in a league battle.
