South Dakota High School Basketball - Leola/Frederick nips Langford
February 6, 2023: Langford, SD 57454 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) and the host Langford Lions (Langford, SD), saw Leola/Frederick's basketball squad hold off Langford by a tally of 35-30.
With the victory, Leola/Frederick improves its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Titans host Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD) to play the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Herreid/Selby lost 45-37 in their recent league challenge against Sully Buttes (Onida, SD)
Next up, the Lions play the Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Langford will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 54-45 league loss to Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD).
