The The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) basketball knocked off the host Salida Spartans (Salida, CO), 50-39 in Monday's league test.

The Coursers (12-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO). The Pirates go into the 4A/3A Tri-Peaks test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, St. Mary's notched a victory over Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO), 80-43, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Lamar for a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks test on Saturday, February 11.
