Howard Tigers (Howard, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Bridgewater/Emery Huskies (Emery, SD), 62-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Howard upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD) to play the Cardinals in a B Region 3 bout on Thursday, February 8. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 10-3. St. Mary won 80-49 in their recent non-league bout against Arlington (Arlington, SD)

Next up, the Huskies play the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Bridgewater/Emery will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Black Panthers come into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 66-46 league win over Bon Homme (Tyndall, SD).
