January 4, 2024: Forestburg, SD 57385 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Howard Tigers (Howard, SD) and the host Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD), saw Howard's basketball squad wallop Sanborn Central/Woonsocket by a tally of 68-40.
With the victory, Howard improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host DeSmet (DeSmet, SD) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. DeSmet won 73-17 in their recent league challenge against Arlington (Arlington, SD)
