South Dakota High School Basketball - Wessington Springs knocked off by Howard
March 14, 2024: Howard, SD 57349 The Howard Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Wessington Springs Spartans to 38 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to White River for a non-league contest on Friday, March 15. Howard will meet a Tigers team coming off a 72-57 non-league win over Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 22-2.
The Spartans (23-2) will now prepare for their contest against Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 18-6 record. In their last contest, Viborg/Hurley was outscored by White River (White River, SD), 72-57, in a non-league contest.
