Nebraska High School Basketball - Hemingford holds off Morrill
February 7, 2023: Hemingford, NE 69348 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hemingford Bobcats (Hemingford, NE) and the visiting Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE), saw Hemingford's basketball squad hold off Morrill by a tally of 74-69.
With the victory, Hemingford improves its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Kimball (Kimball, NE) to confront the Longhorns in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 7-13. Kimball lost 61-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Pine Bluffs (Pine Bluffs, WY)
Next up, the Lions confront the Bridgeport Bulldogs (Bridgeport, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Morrill will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 71-49 non-league win over Mitchell (Mitchell, NE).
