Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA) and the visiting Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), saw Rochester's basketball squad hold off Union Area by a tally of 64-63.

With the victory, Rochester improves its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Western Beaver (Industry, PA) to confront the Golden Beavers in a WPIAL 1A 1 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Golden Beavers come into the challenge with a record of 10-11. Western Beaver won 58-32 in their recent league challenge against Cornell (Coraopolis, PA)

Next up, the Scotties confront the Avella Eagles (Avella, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 1 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Union Area will attempt to improve on its 18-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-16 record after their 72-25 league loss to Carlynton (Carnegie, PA).
