South Carolina High School Basketball - South Pointe edges Northwestern

February 7, 2023: Rock Hill, SC 29732

The South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) basketball nipped the host Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC), 49-46 in Tuesday's league test.

The Stallions (23-2) will now prepare for their test against York (York, SC). The Cougars go into the AAAA Region 3 test with a 11-12 record. In their last test, York was tipped by Lancaster (Lancaster, SC), 43-31, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to Catawba Ridge for a AAAA Region 3 test on Friday, February 10. Northwestern will encounter a Copperheads squad coming off a 56-41 league win over Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Copperheads record now stands at 19-4.
