Maryland High School Basketball - Mount St. Joseph thwarts McDonogh
February 7, 2024: Baltimore, MD 21229 The Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), 64-53 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Gaels (18-2) will now prepare for their test against Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 15-16 record. In their last test, Calvert Hall went down by St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD), 56-44, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 14-9 record. They play next when they host St. Frances Academy for a MIAA A - Red test on Monday, February 12. McDonogh will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 55-52 league loss to Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 21-10.
