North Carolina High School Basketball - South Mecklenburg holds off Ardrey Kell

The South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Ardrey Kell Knights to 59 in the Sabres league triumph on Friday.

The Sabres now possess a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Ballantyne Ridge for a 4A South Meck game on Tuesday, February 11. South Mecklenburg will confront a Wolves team coming off a 83-50 league loss to Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 2-21.

With the loss, Ardrey Kell falls to 17-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Olympic (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Trojans in a 4A South Meck game on Tuesday, February 11. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 15-6. Olympic lost 68-65 in their recent league game against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC)
