West Virginia High School Basketball - Chapmanville Regional fells Nitro
February 7, 2025: Chapmanville, WV 25508 The Chapmanville Regional Tigers basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Nitro Wildcats to 54 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bluefield for a non-league game on Monday, February 10. Chapmanville Regional will confront a Beavers team coming off a 48-47 non-league win over Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Beavers record now stands at 2-12.
With the loss, Nitro falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV) to confront the Panthers in a Cardinal game on Saturday, February 8. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 1-11. Lincoln County lost 92-33 in their recent non-league game against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV)
