The South Point Red Raiders basketball squad (Belmont, NC), lost 62-53 in Friday's league contest with the host Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC)

The Huskies (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Storm come into the 3A Big South contest with a 20-2 record. In their last contest, Stuart W. Cramer defeated Crest (Shelby, NC), 63-41, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Red Raiders battle the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) in a 3A Big South match, on Tuesday, February 11. South Point will attempt to advance on its 15-6 season record.
