First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), 69-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, First Flight advances its record to 12-3 on the year. The Nighthawks travel to Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to face the Panthers in a match on Tuesday, February 11. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 8-9. Pasquotank County won 58-46 in their recent league match against Currituck County (Barco, NC)

The Aces now own a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hertford County for a match on Saturday, February 8. Holmes will face a Bears squad coming off a 68-64 league win over Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Bears record now stands at 10-6.
