Illinois High School Basketball - Princeville bests Peoria Christian
February 8, 2025: Princeville, IL 61559 The Princeville Princes basketball team scored 77 points and limited the visiting Peoria Christian Chargers to 69 in the Princes non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Princes now possess a 20-7 record. They play next when they travel to Stark County for a Lincoln Trail game on Tuesday, February 11. Princeville will confront a Rebels team coming off a 71-39 league loss to Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL). The Rebels record now stands at 6-17.
With the loss, Peoria Christian falls to 20-9 on the campaign. The Chargers host Farmington (Farmington, IL) to confront the Farmers in a non-league game on Friday, February 14. The Farmers go into the game with a record of 9-17. Farmington lost 58-43 in their recent non-league game against Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL)
