North Carolina High School Basketball - Parkwood falls to Monroe

February 9, 2024: Monroe, NC 28112

In Friday's league match, the host Monroe Redhawks basketball team scored a good 53-44 triumph over the Parkwood Wolf Pack.

In their next game, the Redhawks meet the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 12. Monroe will attempt to better on its 7-13 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 12-10 record after their 42-38 league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC).

With the defeat, Parkwood moves to 10-11 on the year. The Wolf pack travel to Piedmont (Monroe, NC) to meet the Panthers in a 2A/3A Rocky River match on Tuesday, February 13. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 13-8. Piedmont won 46-42 in their recent non-league match against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC)
