Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD), 67-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chopticon upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Braves travel to La Plata (La Plata, MD) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-4. La Plata lost 71-61 in their recent non-league bout against Westlake (Waldorf, MD)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 14. Calvert will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
