February 10, 2023: Needham, MA 02494 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Needham Rockets (Needham, MA) and the visiting Walpole Timberwolves (Walpole, MA), saw Needham's basketball squad overcome Walpole by a tally of 78-63.
With the victory, Needham improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Brookline (Brookline, MA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Brookline lost 65-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Natick (Natick, MA)
Next up, the Timberwolves confront the Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) in a Bay State - Herget challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Walpole will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Wamps come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 74-70 league loss to Weymouth (South Weymouth, MA).
