Connecticut High School Basketball - Old Saybrook tops Old Lyme
February 10, 2023: Old Saybrook, CT 06475 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Old Saybrook Rams (Old Saybrook, CT) and the visiting Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT), saw Old Saybrook's basketball squad knock off Old Lyme by a tally of 34-26.
With the victory, Old Saybrook improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Portland (Portland, CT) to play the Highlanders in a Shoreline challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Portland won 84-52 in their recent league challenge against Westbrook (Westbrook, CT)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Old Lyme will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 61-49 league win over Hale Ray (Moodus, CT).
